Take a step back and experience the lives of local Laotians by staying in the beautiful community of Pak Xeng. Contribute to the Pak Xeng community by helping build a part of their society. Feel the breeze of countryside wind hanging out at the community hall. Meet the local community as you complete your community service projects. Have the time of your life!

Detailed Itinerary
After a morning pickup from the hotel, you will head to the Pakxeng community by Van or Truck for 2 hours. You will be welcomed by the community and host families in a heartwarming ceremony, and take time to settle in your homestay homes. You will visit the community project site in the afternoon to better understand the details of the project. Following a traditional dinner in the community hall, you will end the night by enjoying a traditional dance performance.
You will spend the day working at the project site, and interact with locals. In the late afternoon, you will enjoy traditional Lao boat racing. The day will end with a cozy dinner at the community hall, and a camp fire chat with locals.
After a morning at the project site, you will move to a local elementary school where you will teach English to Laotian students. There will also be activity time where you can play games with them. You will also experience traditional scarf and basket weaving.
After a morning at the project site, you can experience Bamboo rafting on the Seuang River Valley, and cook your own dinner under the supervision of local families. The day will end with a dance performance at the local high school, where you can also show off your dance moves!
You will sit through a traditional Basi ceremony to say farewell to the community. Afterwards, you can enjoy lunch at the ferry and cruise down the famous Mekong river to Luang Prabang. There will be a visit to Pak Ou cave during the cruise.
